See whether moderation decisions were influenced by default or organization-specific rules directly from the message page.
Available in:
We’ve introduced a new Classification Method indicator to give you more visibility into how moderation decisions are influenced.
🧠 Understand what influenced a classification
A new filter and tag now show whether a moderation classification was applied using:
- Default rules: the baseline detection patterns used by our technology
- Custom rules: adjustments specifically configured for your organization and moderation needs
This makes it easier to understand when a classification has been influenced by rules tailored to your own environment.
🎯 More transparency in moderation decisions
By surfacing the classification method directly in the message page, teams can better interpret moderation results and understand how specific configurations impact detections.
⚡ Built for future contextual signals
This first iteration lays the foundation for additional context-aware indicators in future releases, including post context and industry-specific rules.
This improvement helps make moderation logic more transparent and easier to interpret in day-to-day workflows.
This improvement builds on an existing feature. Learn more about how it works in our Help Center.

This allows teams to analyze activity with greater accuracy and adapt reporting to different workflows and use cases.
🎯 A more consistent experience across the Dashboard
The improved picker brings a more unified and intuitive filtering experience across all major pages, helping users navigate and compare data more efficiently.
These improvements make data exploration faster, clearer, and better suited to day-to-day analysis.

Separate organic and paid social media content with the new Paid Filterer. Analyze paid posts across analytics, messages, and publications to better understand performance, reactions, and risk tied to budgeted campaigns.
Available in:
You can now clearly separate organic and paid content across your dashboard.
🧩 What’s included
- Organic posts: content published without budget, distributed to followers via platform algorithms.
- Paid (dark) posts: unpublished ads shown only to targeted audiences.
- Partnership posts: paid collaborations with creators or publishers, disclosed as branded content.
The Paid Filterer is available in Analytics, Messages, and Posts, giving you a dedicated view of paid activity without organic noise.
This new view helps you better understand performance, reactions, and risk tied to budgeted campaigns. You can also group paid posts into campaigns to analyze initiatives more consistently.
Paid-focused analyses can also be run through Aidan in Audience Intelligence by launching analyses exclusively on paid content using the filter.
📌 Current scope
- 4 Platforms: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Linkedin
- Boosted posts are not supported yet
- Co-posts are not supported yet
Paid vs organic comparisons require running separate analyses.

Manage your email subscriptions directly from the Dashboard and choose which types of communications you want to receive.
Available in:
We’ve introduced a new Email Communication Center in user preferences, giving you more control over the types of emails you receive from Bodyguard.
📬 Manage your subscriptions in one place
You can now subscribe to — or unsubscribe from — different types of communications directly from the Dashboard, including product updates, marketing content, sales communications, customer support messages, and newsletters.
All changes are applied automatically and can be updated at any time.
🔄 No impact on existing subscriptions
If you were already subscribed through another channel, nothing changes. Even if a preference does not appear enabled, you will not be removed from existing mailing lists. You can choose to activate the option to explicitly confirm your subscription.
This update makes email communications more transparent, flexible, and fully user-controlled.

Control how languages are displayed and translated to better manage multilingual communities.
Available in:
We’ve expanded User Preferences to give you more control over how languages are displayed and translated in the Dashboard.
🌍 More control over language settings
In addition to choosing the Dashboard language, you can now:
- Select a translation language to define which language messages are translated into
- Indicate the languages you already understand, so content written in those languages is no longer translated unnecessarily
🎯 Better experience for multilingual environments
These new settings are especially useful for users managing multilingual communities. They help reduce visual noise, avoid redundant translations, and keep the focus on messages that actually need translation.
This update makes the Dashboard more flexible and better adapted to international and multilingual workflows.

A more intuitive Audience Intelligence experience with clearer question access and improved history visibility.
Available in:
We’ve improved the Audience Intelligence experience to make questions easier to access, reuse, and manage over time.
✍️ Custom questions, front and center
Custom questions are now displayed at the top, with predefined questions listed below. This makes it easier to start from your own prompts first — whereas predefined questions were previously shown first.
🕓 Improved and unified history (per user)
The history experience has been redesigned to be more visible and easier to access, while remaining personal to each user:
- The history is now directly available from the Audience Intelligence modal, instead of being hidden in the settings.
- Custom questions now have their own history, whereas previously only predefined questions were tracked.
- All questions — predefined and custom — are now listed together in a single, per-user history, allowing each user to review their own past answers and relaunch questions whenever needed.
These improvements make Audience Intelligence more intuitive and better suited for repeated, day-to-day use.
